The Royal Northern Yacht Club is located juts outside Helensburgh in the village of Rhu, with it’s views over the Clyde Estuary and Gareloch. The Royal Northern Yacht Club was established in 1824 and then subsequently moved into this grand old building in 1874 – where it still exists today.

I took these pictures using my Lancaster camera, which is just as old, being made in 1886.

Taken using a Lancaster 7×5 inch camera with an R&J Beck 9 inch lens onto Black Aluminium plate.
